Small Group Vietnam Photography Tours for South African Creatives

Nammads exists to take South Africans to Vietnam not as tourists, but as explorers with cameras. We guide small groups through Hanoi on immersive Vietnam photography tours, sharing the city as it is truly experienced while helping you grow behind the lens.

No experience is needed, beginners are welcome. Throughout the journey, I personally teach both shooting and editing, with daily photography workshops in  Hanoi where we review images, refine technique, and build confidence.

This is not about ticking off places. It is about walking with intention, learning together, and coming home with photographs that actually mean something.

Not tourists. Nammads.

Daily adventures

Sunday 15 November

From Hoàn Kiếm Lake, Hanoi’s iconic central lake and gathering place, the first evening unfolds along its tree-lined promenade before moving through Hàng Khay Street, known for its old shopfronts and soft evening light a gentle introduction to the rhythm of the city.

Monday 16 November

Starting at Ô Quan Chưởng Gate, the last remaining gateway of Hanoi’s ancient city walls, the day moves deeper into the Old Quarter along Thanh Hà Street, making our way up to Chợ Đồng Xuân, Hanoi’s largest covered market and a bustling hub of trade and everyday life.

Tuesday 17 November

The morning opens along Vành Đai Street, making our way toward Cầu Long Biên Bridge, crossing above the Red River and the everyday life unfolding on the banks below. The afternoon slows in the calm courtyards of the Temple of Literature, before the day transforms at night along Lê Duẩn and Kham Thiên Train Streets, where locals gather in the narrow corridor between homes and passing trains.
